Library volunteering

 

Volunteering feels good! Volunteer at your local library:

• make someone's life better

 

We have a variety of volunteering roles available in our local libraries, from helping promote the Summer Reading Challenge to children, selling second-hand books, to helping out with events.

 

Availability of these roles vary throughout the year, and from branch to branch.

 

Most of our volunteer roles require a weekly time commitment of a few hours, during library opening hours.

 

We also have some roles with a more flexible time commitment, such as joining our 'volunteer pool', for ad hoc help with events.

 

Volunteers must be 18 years and over.
